To say we are faith based means that we believe that left to an individual's own devices, without God's intervention they cannot fully recover from a seemingly hopeless stated of mind and body.

Those who are diagnosed with the illness of addiction, alcoholism or co-occurring mental health challenges require a power greater than themselves in order to be restored to sanity.
