This Weeks Guest:
Dixie B.
Country Recovery Recording Artist
At the age of twelve years old, she performed weekly at a local music park called "The BAY BARN" in Gaffney, SC. In Nashville by 17, she would "sit -in" every chance she got, but her eagerness to sing on a regular "paid" gig took her back home to Asheville, NC where she became lead singer with a band called "Southern Stock ". They worked for three years at the Nashville Club as the house band. In 1980, they were asked to perform as an opening act for "The Kendalls" (Heaven's just a Sin Away) Now Dixie is a singing sensation opening her heart to you and I through her new CD, "The Rhythm of Recovery"
My guest include treatment professionals, recovery advocates, authors, recovery recording artist, clean and sober musicians and ragamuffins like you and I
